Safety Coordinator
Job Scope
- Conduct and supervise activities that insure compliance with governmental compliances and corporate policies
Responsibilities
- Assist work-sites to meet EHS requirements
- Identify EHS hazards at work-sites advise Project Manager on remedial action
- Attend tool-box meetings and take note of required follow-up actions
- Perform self-assessments of EHS programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations, and adequacy relative to local conditions
- Generate and/or review work-site reports for environmental and safety agencies
- Manages contractor safety programs
Requirements
- Preferably Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health/Environmental with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the related industry
- Strong understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and corporate standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
